Scott Becker is the founder, publisher, and Chief Content Officer of Becker’s Healthcare, one of the most widely read healthcare media platforms in the country. He is simultaneously a healthcare partner at McGuireWoods LLP in Chicago, where he has chaired the firm’s national healthcare practice and represents hospitals, health systems, surgery center chains, large physician practices, and private equity funds. Becker received his JD from Harvard Law School — where he briefly taught and advised future President Barack Obama as a moot court adviser — and his undergraduate degree in finance and accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a licensed CPA, a prolific podcaster, and the author of four books.
