Jeffery Reuben, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Beaufort, S.C.-based Spine Institute of the Carolinas.

He's practiced in the region for more than 20 years, according to the Spine Institute's website. Dr. Reuben received his medical degree at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, completed an orthopedic residency at the University of Chicago and completed a spine surgery fellowship at Atlanta-based Emory University.

He moved to Beaufort with his family in 2000 after his spine fellowship, according to a March profile from Beaufort Lifestyle. At the fellowship, he met Craig Boatright, MD, and the two went on to run the Spine Institute of the Carolinas.
