Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Praveen Kadimcherla of Atlantic Spine Center

Praveen Kadimcherla, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Atlantic Spine Center in West Orange, N.J.

Dr. Kadimcherla received his medical degree from University at Buffalo (N.Y.) School of Medicine and underwent orthopedic and neurosurgery spine fellowship training at Boston-based New England Baptist Hospital. His interests include spinal deformity, tumors and revision spine surgery.

His research has been published in several scientific articles and presented at national meetings, and his current research involves the use of an ultrasonic bone scalpel to improve common spine surgery procedure outcomes. Dr. Kadimcherla is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association and several medical honor societies.
