Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Thomas Haider of Haider Spine Center

Thomas T. Haider, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon and the founder of Riverside, Calif.-based Haider Spine Center.

Dr. Haider received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and underwent spine surgery fellowship training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. He and his wife co-founded the Children's Spine Foundation, which provides early intervention and spinal disorder treatment for low-income children.

Dr. Haider serves on the clinical faculty at UC Riverside and is the chairman of the biomedical advisory board at UCR/UC Los Angeles Thomas Haider Program in Biomedical Sciences.

He is a past member of the Medical Board of California and is a current member of the American Medical Association and North American Spine Society, among other professional organizations.
