Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. John Peloza of Center for Spine Care

John Peloza, MD, is a spine surgeon and founder of the Center for Spine Care in Dallas.

In addition to practicing, Dr. Peloza has helped launch several minimally invasive spine devices, including Sextant, Met-Rx and the Maverick total disc replacement.

 

Dr. Peloza is an advisor to Medtronic Sofamor Danek and a member of the Lumbar Spine Study Group and Kostiuk Research Society.

 

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Peloza is a member of the International Spine Injection Society, North American Spine Society, American College of Sports Medicine and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

After earning his medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Peloza completed his residency at the Dallas-based University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Peloza is also fellowship trained from The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo.
