Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Brian Perri of Beverly Hills Spine Surgery

Brian Perri, DO, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Los Angeles-based Beverly Hills Spine Surgery.

Dr. Perri specializes in minimally invasive and motion preservation surgery for degenerative spinal diseases and performs reconstructive surgery for spinal tumors and spinal deformities. His vast experience with artificial disc replacement surgery for the cervical and lumbar spine helped him develop a classification system for surgical reconstruction of cervical kyphotic deformities.

 

A member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society and International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, Dr. Perri has also presented his research at several conferences.

 

Dr. Perri received his medical degree from Erie, Pa.-based Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing an orthopedic residency at Hershey, Pa.-based Pinnacle Health Systems and a combined neurosurgical and orthopedic spine surgery fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
