Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Tamara Topoleski of Orlando Orthopaedic Center

Tamara A. Topoleski, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at Orlando Orthopaedic Center who specializes in pediatric surgery.

Dr. Topoleski is constantly involved in clinical and laboratory research and presents her studies at national meetings and conferences. She is a member of the Orange County Medical Society, Florida Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Association and Central Florida Medical Affiliates. Dr. Topoleski is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She utilizes the Ilizarov method in her surgeries.

 

Dr. Topoleski graduated from Valhalla-based New York Medical College and stayed there to complete a general surgical internship and an orthopedic residency with the school's affiliated hospitals. Dr. Topoleski then completed her pediatric orthopedic fellowship at Tampa, Fla.-based Shriners Hospital for Children.
