Jay Jagannathan, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Jagannathan Neurosurgery in Madison Heights, Mich., and treats patients all over Michigan.
He specializes in cranial and spinal surgery and utilizes minimally invasive techniques when conducting a wide variety of spinal procedures.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Dr. Jagannathan trained at University of Virginia in Charlottesville and Wayne State University in Detroit. He later completed his fellowship at the National Institutes for Neurologic Disorders and Stroke, a part of Washington, D.C.'s National Institutes of Health.
He performs artificial disc replacements with Prodisc-C and Prodisc-L technologies, is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and has served on the Congress of Neurological Surgery scientific program committee.
