Robert A. Hart, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon practicing at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. He specializes in treating spinal deformities including scoliosis and kyphosis.
Dr. Hart earned his medical degree from the University of California in San Diego in 1992. He went to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa in Iowa City in 1997. He completed a spine and spinal cord injury fellowship from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland in 1998.
He is a member of several organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Association, National Association of Spine Specialists, Cervical Spine Research Society, Lumbar Spine Research Society, Scoliosis Research Society as well as the International Society of Study of the Lumbar Spine.
