Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Alfred Ogden of Columbia University Medical Center

Alfred O. Ogden, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at New York City-based Columbia University Medical Center.

Dr. Ogden specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery and serves as an assistant professor of neurological surgery at the Spine Center at Columbia University Medical Center.

He received his medical degree from New York City-based Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and underwent minimally invasive spine surgery fellowship training at Chicago-based Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

His clinical interests include spinal tumors, complex spine and spine radiosurgery, and he has published several peer-reviewed scientific papers. Dr. Ogden is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Society of University Neurosurgeons.
