Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Christopher Kepler of Rothman Institute

Christopher Kepler, MD, MBA, is a board-certified spine surgeon at Rothman Institute in Philadelphia. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kepler is published in several peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents at national and international orthopedic meetings.

Dr. Kepler’s ongoing research projects include studying the molecular biology of disc degeneration. He has an appointment at Thomas Jefferson University faculty where he also continues his basic science and clinical research.

 

Dr. Kepler earned his medical degree at the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University, where he also completed his MBA. He underwent a residency at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and a research spine fellowship at Rothman Institute/Thomas Jefferson University.
