Zimmer to Close North Carolina Plant, Cutting 124 Jobs

Zimmer Holdings has plans to close its Statesville, N.C., plant, which will mean cutting 124 jobs, according to a Charlotte Business Journal report.

The plant will close by the end of the first quarter next year, and employees will begin losing their jobs in October, according to the report. The company will continue producing the goods made at the Statesville plant at other locations.
