Zimmer Sees 3.6% Sales Increase, With Knee and Hip Sales ‘Stabilizing’

Zimmer Holdings reported third-quarter net sales of $976 million, an increase of 3.6 percent in constant currency over the third quarter of 2008, according to a release from Zimmer.

The company reported that knee and hip sales are “stabilizing” and are “establishing a solid foundation for future growth.”

However, operating profit on an adjusted basis for the third quarter was flat compared to the third quarter of 2008.
