Zimmer Plans Reorganization, Cuts 50 Jobs

Warsaw, Ind.-based Zimmer will eliminate 50 IT jobs, saying it will realign its information technology work worldwide, according to a report in The Journal Gazette.

The orthopedics manufacturer said the shift is aimed to focus the company on “customer responsiveness,” according to the report.

Zimmer previously laid off 100 workers in June but has posted positive results for the first quarter of this year.
