1. The license agreement allows Zimmer Biomet to use two patent families developed by Peter Bonutti, MD.
2. U.S. Patent No. 9,301,845 will build upon Zimmer Biomet’s Persona The Personalized Knee System and the NexGen Complete Knee Solution.
3. U.S. Patent Nos. 9,269,987 and 9,585,725 will strengthen Zimmer Biomet’s Rosa robotic total knee application, which is currently under development.
4. Bonutti Research possesses more than 550 patents and patent applications in diagnostics, surgical robotics, minimally invasive surgery, soft tissue fixation and hip and knee arthroplasty.
