Zimmer Acquires NORMED Extremities Trauma Device Company

Warsaw, Ind.-based Zimmer has acquired NORMED Medizin-Technik GmbH, a German-based foot and ankle and hand and wrist product developer, for an undisclosed amount of money, according to a Mass Device report.

Without disclosing terms of the acquisition, a Zimmer representative said the company hopes to strengthen its extremities and trauma portfolio.
