Zavation Medical Products, a designer and manufacturer of spinal hardware and biologics, has released what it said is its most advanced cervical interbody implant, combining the company’s Labyrinth porous Peek design with NanoPrime titanium ion bond technology.

The implant integrates a nano-textured titanium surface with a porous architecture engineered to support early bone integration and long-term stability. It aims to maintain the imaging and mechanical advantages of Peek while promoting osteoconductivity and reducing stress shielding, according to a Feb. 11 news release.

The hybrid design provides a uniform, high-adhesion surface intended to enhance cellular activity associated with bone formation throughout the implant’s structure.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
