1. As president, Mr. O’Connell will oversee the company’s commercial efforts, offering vision, leadership, strategy and management skills.
2. Equipped with more than three decades of healthcare and medical device experience, Mr. O’Connell previously served as global vice president of marketing for Wright Medical, leading the foot and ankle division.
3. Mr. O’Connell also served as global vice president for Stryker’s spine division as well as president for Carl Zeiss Surgical.
4. His experience spans global marketing, sales, manufacturing, leadership development, regulatory affairs, corporate quality systems, research as well as product and business development functions.
5. Mr. O’Connell received his master’s degree in business administration from Mount St. Mary’s College in Maryland.
