Wire stimulator technology provides chronic pain relief for San Antonio patients: 4 key points

The San Antonio Advanced Spine and Pain Center started using a Nevro stimulator, according to KSAT 12.

1. The new technology is designed to help patients with chronic back and leg pain.

 

2. Surgeons place a wire, which is intended to stop pain signals, in the epidural space of the spine.

 

3. The center reports patients are experiencing 90 percent of lower back pain relief following the procedure.

 

4. Patients may try the technology for a five-day trial.
