VTI enters partnership with BioMed. Tech. Intl. for its MIS spine devices: 5 things to know

Minnetonka, Minn.-based VTI entered a strategic partnership with Mexico-based BioMed. Tech. Int.

Here are five things to know:

 

1. BioMed. Tech. Int. is a medical products distributor.

 

2. The distributor will offer VTI’s InterFuse S and InterFuse T spinal fusion devices in Mexico.

 

3. The InterFuse System is a spinal implant that embodies a large footprint via an intra-body modular assembly technique. Surgeons use a minimally invasive posterior or transformational approach to implant the device.

 

4. Surgeons in more than 20 countries are using the InterFuse .

 

5. The two companies will officially unveil the partnership in mid-September at the AMCICO Spine Congress in Mexico City.
