Vistek Medical Acquired by GEMCITY Engineering

GEMCITY Engineering and Manufacturing, a Dayton, Ohio-based contract manufacturer, has acquired Vistek Medical, a contract manufacturer of medical implant and specialized components located in Ivyland, Pa., according to a GEM news release.

The acquisition of Vistek is part of an overall growth and acquisition strategy for GEM. Officials from Riverside Partners, the equity firm that financed the acquisition, said Vistek was a good fit as both companies “serve blue chip customers whose primary focus is innovative high quality solutions for their end customers,” according to the release.
