Unicondylar Knee Replacement Performed with NavioPFS Robotic System

One of the first unicondylar knee replacement procedures with the NavioPFS device was performed at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Scotland, according to Azo Robotics.

The NavioPFS is produced by Blue Belt Technologies. Former Muller Award-winner for computer assisted orthopedic surgery Fred Picard, MD, performed the surgery.

The surgical system provides an instrument with robotic control, intraoperative implant planning and 3-D visualization and navigation to treat knee osteoarthritis.
