1. Mr. Patton is president and CEO of CAS Medical Systems, a position he’s held since 2010. He has previous experience as CEO of Wright Medical Group and President of Novametrix Medical Systems.
2. Mr. Patton was advisor to Ferrer Freeman & Company, a healthcare-focused private equity group. His advising lasted seven years, from 2003 to 2010.
3. Thomas O’Neill resigned from the board on May 13 and Mr. Patton will replace him.
4. Mr. Patton earned his degree at College of Holy Cross and completed a law degree at Georgetown University Law Center.
5. In addition to his experience in the medical field, Mr. Patton founded a start-up company that developed a platform for hematology diagnostics and worked for the Williams & Connolly law firm in Washington, DC.
