The Apex Knee System turns 10: 4 things to know

Here’s what you should know.

1. The Apex system has been used in more than 75,000 knee replacements worldwide.

2. The Apex knee has a survivorship rate of 99.5 percent, which is better than any of its competitors, according to data from the Australian Registry of statistics.

3. Omni worked with Warren Low, MD, and Thomas Tkach, MD, of Oklahoma City’s McBride Orthopedic Hospital, to design the implant.

4. Omni also developed OMNIBotics, a technology platform, to assist in total hip and knee replacement surgeries.
