Texas Workers Compensation Recommends STAR Ankle Replacement System

Texas Workers Compensation is currently recommending coverage of Small Bone Innovation‘s STAR total ankle replacement treatment when the patient is appropriately indicated for the system.

In 2010, there were approximately 7,000 reported cases of foot and ankle disability among private sector employees in Texas, and STAR is the only ankle replacement system approved by the FDA. There are currently more than 60 surgeons in Texas trained in the procedure.
