Three things to know:
1. The fundraisers are aiming to raise $200,00 in its “Boots & Bandanas” event to purchase a brand new Mobile C-Arm for the hospital.
2. Mobile C-Arms have become essential part of repairing bone fractures and correcting deformities, especially in the spine and feet.
3. The group organized its first event in 2008 and raised $450,000. Since its formation it has raised a total of $1.5 million for the hospital, according to Melissa Mullens, a chairperson of the event.
