Teleflex signs agreement with HealthTrust for Port Closure products: 5 key points

Teleflex, a global provider of medical devices for critical care and surgery, signed a group purchasing agreement with HealthTrust.

Here are five key points:

 

1. The agreement covered Teleflex’s Weck EFx Portfolio of Port Closure products.

 

2. These products are engineered to offer fast, safe closure of laparoscopic port sites with options that adapt to procedural needs.

 

3. The only shielded port closure device, the Weck EFx Shield Fascial Closure System is made with a shielded wing for sharps protection, a wing deployment, and a fascial closure technique with unassisted suture retrieval.

 

4. HealthTrust strengthens provider performance by delivering total cost management solutions, including supply chain solutions and a contract and service portfolio.

 

5. August 1, 2015 will be the start of the agreement.
