Surgeons use Life Spine’s PROLIFT system in 1st cases — 5 highlights

Huntley, Ill.-based Life Spine completed its initial cases with its PROLIFT Expandable Interbody System.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. PROLIFT is designed to restore disc height in-situ for minimally invasive PLIF, TLIF and oblique approaches.

 

2. The FDA cleared the system in March 2016.

 

3. Since the system doesn’t demand segmental compression, it cuts procedural time.

 

4. Life Spine will launch a limited release in the second quarter of 2016, with a full release later in 2016.

 

5. The company manufactures products for spinal disorder surgical treatments.
