Three things to know:

1. Surgalign will integrate its research and development operations with the facility to accelerate and expand new product development.

2. The ability to “prototype new devices in-house gives us better control of quality and should certainly strengthen our product development engine, including our efforts to advance the promise of digital surgery,” Surgalign President and CEO Terry Rich said in a May 6 news release.

3. Current staff at the facility will become Surgalign employees.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 18–20 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
