Five things to know:
1. Net sales of $5.5 billion represent an 11.9% increase year over year, according to a news release.
2. Orthopedic and spine sales were $2.3 billion, a 10.7% increase year over year.
3. MedSurg and neurotechnology sales were $3.2 billion, a 12.8% increase year over year.
4. Stryker’s net earnings increased 20.5% year over year with $834 million.
5. Stryker expects its full-year revenue to grow 9.5% to 10%.
