Stryker Spine’s new president promoted from within

Robbie Robinson has been appointed president of Stryker’s spine division after 17 years with the company, a company spokesperson told Becker’s.

Three notes:

1. Mr. Robinson began his Stryker career in the company’s endoscopy division in 2004, and has served as a sales representative, regional sales manager and director of marketing.

2. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager of the orthopedic instruments business unit at the Kalamazoo, Mich.-based medtech company. Prior to that he served as vice president and general manager of Stryker’s interventional spine business.

3. Mr. Robinson succeeds Eric Major, founder of K2M, who held the role since November 2018.
