Stryker sees $5.2B in Q1 sales

Stryker saw a 9.7% year-over-year increase in sales during the first quarter of 2024, according to financial results posted April 30.

Six things to know:

1. Net sales were $5.2 billion. The company’s medsurg and neurotechnology segment saw $3 billion in sales, an 11% increase year-over-year. 

2. Orthopedic and spine sales grew 7.5% year-over-year with $2.2 billion in sales.

3. Hip sales were $588 million, a 4% increase year-over-year. Knee sales were $393 million, a 5.1% increase year-over-year.

4. Trauma and extremity sales were $830 million, a 7.9% increase year-over-year.

5. Spine sales were $300 million, a 5.5% increase year-over-year.

6. Stryker’s net earnings of $788 million represent a 33.1% increase from the same time in 2023.
