Stryker pedicle screw exceeds 1M implantations

Stryker’s Mesa pedicle screw system has surpassed one million implantations worldwide, according to an Oct. 5 news release.

Three things to know:

1. Launched in 2006, the Mesa portfolio was designed to address correction maneuvers in complex spine surgery.

2. The portfolio features various low-profile systems, including Mesa Deformity, Mesa 2 Deformity, Mesa Degenerative and Mesa Small Stature.

3. Stryker will showcase its Mesa portfolio during the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting, occurring virtually Oct. 6-9.
