The Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Business Leadership Coalition was developed after hospital leaders requested an increased number of products to support their goals of sustainability. The coalition will work to:
• Identify materials of concern and develop more sustainable products
• Devise strategies to reduce environmental impact of medical products
• Educate other institutions and companies about environmental best practices
