Here are three things to know:
1. The company announced the following notes:
• $625.02 million aggregate principal amount of the company’s 1.125 percent notes due 2023
• $851.45 million aggregate principal among of the company’s 2.125 percent notes due 2027
• $738.10 million aggregate principal amount of the company’s 2.625 percent notes due 2030
• $340.66 million aggregate principal amount of the company’s floating rate notes due 2020
2. Unless previously redeemed pursuant to their terms, the notes will mature Nov. 30 of the respective year due. The Notes are expected to settle on Nov. 30 subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
3. Stryker will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including repaying the $500 million principal amount of outstanding 1.8 percent notes due Jan. 15, 2019.
