Stryker Features Hip Arthroscopy Platform at AAOS Annual Meeting

Stryker recently featured the company’s new tissue-preservation hip arthroscopy platform, a comprehensive system of instrumentation and precision devices designed for optimal hip mechanics, at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting, according to a company news release.

The system is used during minimally invasive hip arthroscopy and is designed to treat several conditions, including Pincer impingements and labral repairs.

The platform includes the high definition IDEAL EYES visualization platform, a new cannulated access system, SERFAS XL ablation probes, repair instrumentation and FORMULA XL blades featuring new angled cutter designs. The instrumentations join with the Orthomap 3D navigation package for CAM FAI and the TwinLoop FLEX labral repair system.
