Stryker educates on joint health, sponsors service dog for veteran at golf championship: 3 insights

Stryker’s Mobility Zone made its final stop of the 2018 golf season at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Phoenix, Nov. 8.

Here are three things to know:

1. Orthopedic surgeons onsite at the Mobility Zone answered questions about joint health and potential treatment options, including the benefits of Mako Robotic-Arm Assisted Surgery.

2. Stryker also hosted the 2.1-mile Health Walk, which featured interactive signs at quarter-mile increments that provide joint health education and golf trivia.

3. During a military appreciation ceremony at the tournament Nov. 9, Stryker sponsored its 21st service dog with K9s For Warriors, a nonprofit organization that trains and matches service dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury or other trauma as a result of military service post-9/11.
