1. Since Sept. 2, 2016, Mr. Vizirgianakis has been serving as Misonix’s interim CEO.
2. Mr. Vizirgianakis has served as a Misonix board member since May 2013.
3. His career saw him as Norwalk, Conn.-based United States Surgical Corp.’s sales director for sub-Saharan Africa. He also served Ascendis Medical’s managing director until July 2016.
4. He co-founded Surgical Innovations, located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
5. After investing $4 million in Misonix on Oct. 25, 2016, Mr. Vizirgianakis became the company’s largest shareholder.
