SpineGuard reports 7% drop in 2018 revenue: 5 details

SpineGuard released its 2018 full-year financial report.

Five details:

1. For the year, the company generated $8.62 million in revenue, a 7 percent decrease year over year.

2. While seeing a dip in revenue, SpineGuard sold 9,001 DSG systems. This is up 3 percent compared to the 8,764 sold in 2017.

3. SpineGuard sold 5,336 systems in the U.S., representing 59 percent of total units sold. This was also up 1 percent compared to the 5,303 units sold in the U.S. in 2017.

4. For the fourth quarter, SpineGuard recorded $2.36 million in revenue, a 5 percent decrease year-over-year.

5. SpineGuard will release its next financial report March 14. The company expects full-year net income for its U.S. operations to be positive for the first time in 2018.
