Spine Wave launches StaXx XD Xpandable Device: 5 key notes

Spine Wave initiated the commercial launch of its titanium-coated StaXx XD Expandable Device.

Here are five key notes:

 

1. The device combines the radiolucency and unique modulus of stacked PEEK with the surface properties of titanium. The titanium layer is bonded to the implant.

 

2. Spine surgeons from around the United States have implanted more than 40,000 StaXx expandable PEEK spacers.

 

3. The product has been on a limited release for the past few months and Spine Wave is conducting the commercial launch at the North American Spine Society annual meeting in Chicago.

 

4. The company is growing and continues to recruit new sales managers and independent distributors for additional growth.

 

5. Spine Wave also recently launched the Leva Interbody Device.
