The portfolio consists of the previously released StaXx XDL Expandable Device and the recently released StaXx IBL Expandable Interbody Device, Abacus Lateral Spacer System, XLR Lateral Access System and a full complement of disposable accessories.
“We are very excited by our entrance into this market segment,” said Mark LoGuidice, Spine Wave’s CEO. “In time we expect the current and future StaXx Expandable Devices to advance the lateral surgical approach, much like our flagship StaXx XD Expandable Device has advanced the posterior surgical approach.”
The lateral access product portfolio along with the company’s recently introduced Annex Adjacent Level System will be showcased at the Congress of Neurological Surgeons meeting in Boston, Oct. 18 to Oct. 22.
