Here are five things to know:

1. The Proficient Posterior Cervical Spine System is recognized for its tri-lobe screw design, offering surgeons 120 degrees of angulation.

2. Spine Wave expanded the product line to include screw-to-rod lateral connectors, rod-to-rod connections and smooth shank screws as an alternation for fixation.

3. The system also now offers translation screws to provide medial-to-lateral translation for the facilitation of improved rod placement in posterior cervical-thoracic fixation procedures.

4. Previously, Spine Wave focused on developing products for thoracolumbar spine surgeries. The Proficient Posterior Cervical Spine System is the company’s first internally developed cervical offering.

5. Spine Wave also recently launched the GraftMag Graft Delivery System, designed to simplify interbody bone grafting procedures.
