Spine partnership to commercialize cervical disc replacement implant

Synergy Spine Solutions and Ortho Consulting group are expanding their partnership to commercialize products in the European, Middle Eastern and African regions.

OCG plans to add a product manager who will work to support sales of the Synergy Cervical disc in the EMEA regions, according to a Sept. 12 news release. It is the only artificial cervical disc with a 6-degree lordotic core. It is designed for patients with degenerative disc disease causing radiculopathy or myelopathy. 

The Synergy disc is commercially available in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Canada. It is designated for investigational use in the U.S.
