1. Premia Spine earned CMS’ New Technology Add-on Payment for the TOPS system, the devicemaker said Oct. 2. This provides up to an additional $11,375 beyond the standard DRG payment for the procedure.

2. Relievant Medsystems’ Intracept spine procedure earned a positive coverage policy from Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, the medtech company said Oct. 3. The policy expands access for the procedure to more than 36 million patients.
