Spine implant to know: CentraLIF from Globus Medical

The CentraLIF procedure is a less invasive posterior lumbar fusion procedure. The technique combines retraction, fixation and interbody fusion.

The CentraLIF procedure includes three major components:

 

• Mars Midline Retractor
• Oreo MCS Cortical Screw
• RISE Expandable Interbody Spacers

 

The MARS midline retractor was developed to simplify in situ blade attachment and positioning. The OREO MCS was developed for enhanced bone fixation wit ha medial trajectory and RISE was engineered to ease insertion and maximize height restoration.
