PerQdisc will be studied in degenerative disc disease patients, according to a Nov. 15 company news release. The device replaces a single nucleus pulposus between spinal discs and is an alternative to spinal fusion and disc replacement.

The trial is enrolling 72 patients across seven research centers in South America.
