Spinal Simplicity launched its Patriot-SI standalone posterior sacroiliac joint fusion implant.
The implant is made from 3D-printed titanium alloy and is fully hydroxyapatite-coating, according to a June 6 news release. Patriot-SI is the only fully cannulated posterior system of its kind and lets surgeons deploy it over a guidewire.
Patriot-SI enables reproducible trajectory-guided delivery and is minimally invasive. It is sterile packed and offered in a single-use set.
“With Patriot-SI, we’re empowering clinicians with a system that not only enhances predictability but also minimizes tissue disruption while optimizing conditions for long-term fusion success,” Todd Moseley, CEO of Spinal Simplicity, said in the release.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
