Smith & Nephew Posts Flat Revenue but Sees Market Stabilizing

In the third quarter, Smith & Nephew saw revenue grow 1 percent over the same period last year, although trading profit was up 22 percent, according to a release from Smith and Nephew.

In Smith & Nephew’s orthopedics division, improved reconstruction performance was offset by weaker trauma sales in the third quarter.

The company said it sees early signs of the market stabilizing as spending on surgical procedures resumes.
