The company’s lawsuit included an affidavit from a current employee who claims the group, which was responsible for Smith & Nephew’s Visionaire product, was planning a “mass resignation” with intentions of starting their own company, according to the news report.

It is also alleged that the former employees would use the confidential intellectual property to offer consulting services. Smith & Nephew is seeking $20 million in damages in addition to damages from individual employees, according to the report.
