Sites Medical to Open Facility in Indiana

Sites Medical, an orthopedic medical device company, plans to lease and equip a facility in Columbia City, Ind., for $1.9 million, according to a report by The Journal Gazette.

Sites Medical develops, evaluates and markets technologies and services for companies focused on sports medicine, joint reconstruction, spine and orthopedic oncology. The company plans to grow its in-house services to include specialty testing, prototyping, specialty manufacturing and quality and regulatory services at the new facility. It is anticipated to create to 45 new jobs by 2017, according to the report.
